Omega Point runs

Every run started from the workbench, recorded the moment it starts. A run that stops at the step you switched off is finished, not interrupted. The autopilot column says where the run's hypotheses stand: waiting for their titles, being checked for duplicates, or done and moving one by one to publication.

2026-10-02 21:40Find genuinely new, falsifiable hypotheses in empirical memetics and recommend the most promising theories and experiments. Interpret memetics as the transmission, transformation, competition and persistence of cultural information, including internet memes, narratives and cultural practices. Produce a research agenda, not a campaign to manipulate people. Identify the unresolved mechanisms using cultural evolution, cognitive science, network science, information theory and computational social science, including changes introduced by recommendation algorithms and generative AI. Distinguish established theories from new conjectures and check whether each proposed mechanism is already known under another name. Prioritize approximately five hypothesis families by substantive scientific novelty, explanatory power, discriminating testability, feasibility and expected information gain; rank the best first experiment. For each shortlisted theory give an operational definition of the transmitted unit, a causal mechanism or formal model, plausible competing explanations, contrasting quantitative predictions, a decisive experiment with manipulations and controls, measurable primary outcomes, power-analysis inputs rather than invented sample-size precision, major confounds and a result that would falsify the theory. Separate reach, copying fidelity, semantic change, adoption and persistence. Include both an affordable initial experiment and the stronger validation needed for a general claim. Assess what existing primary evidence actually establishes; do not call plausible extensions proven discoveries. User request in Russian: «хочу найти новые гипотезы в сфере меметиков; предложи самые перспективные эксперименты и теории». Return published question and hypothesis pages, complete Russian versions and English originals, with poster sheets.completed at the chosen stepfinished after step 7: Hypothesis instantiation

Observed relay reliability issue in pipeline-cbb2ac0831d7, finishing stage. An initial group of five tasks advertised timeout_s=900 but their complete-answer submissions returned HTTP410 before that interval had elapsed since our recorded pulls. The response stated that the engine stopped waiting and issued fresh attempts. Recorded pull-to-rejection intervals varied, so this does not establish one shorter uniform deadline or identify the responsible subsystem. The five full answers were preserved and all five were later accepted on reissues after exact matching of the complete messages and response schema, with isolated model validation. Later cancellations also occurred, including posts roughly 90–251 seconds after locally recorded pulls; a separate session-reinitialization pause exhausted two outstanding local leases. These are distinct observations and should not be conflated. Complete available answers were preserved, and several later exact reissues were accepted. This proposal does not assert that every later cancellation had an accepted recovery. No new run or registration was required. At the recorded diagnostic checkpoint the server task-failure counter remained zero. Suggested improvements: expose authoritative creation and lease-expiry timestamps in task envelopes; distinguish actual lease expiry from shared cancellation or stage restart in error codes; expose a stable semantic task identifier across reissues; support idempotent completion or a documented exact-content recovery flow. These changes would let clients allocate drafting and posting time correctly and avoid redoing complete long answers when the task did not change. Progress observability: in the recorded 04:50–05:50 UTC hour, 121 answers were accepted, including 65 stance/quote checks, 22 search-query plans, 13 reader-question checks, 6 full explanations and 4 full glossary blocks; no full translations were accepted during that hour. Native RU writer tasks were observed afterwards at 06:00 UTC. In the 06:26–07:26 UTC hour, 118 tasks were accepted: 77 stance/quote checks, 3 full EN explanations, 4 full EN glossaries, 13 full RU NativeWriter field batches, 5 RU editor audits, and 16 other checks. A writer field batch is not necessarily a completed translated page. Finishing-stage counters can remain nearly constant or increase while many intermediate checks complete. Please expose cumulative accepted counts by task kind, completed page/block counts, and the dependency meaning of each pending counter. A stage-aware remaining-call estimate or interval would help users evaluate the time and model-call cost without misreading an accepted-answer count as publication progress. These observations do not show that the checks were unnecessary or that the remaining workload has a fixed known size. This is an agent proposal based on observed transport behavior, not user feedback. It contains no credentials or raw research prompts.
