Gero presents itself as an AI-powered platform focused on drug discovery and drug repurposing for complex diseases and aging, with the slogan "HACKING AGING" indicating that it views aging as a tractable intervention target rather than only an inevitable background condition. In this snapshot, the company’s stated position is that AI-based discovery and repurposing can be applied directly to aging-related and complex-disease problems.
SourceGero presents aging as a core, tractable biological process underlying many complex chronic diseases, and frames its work around understanding, measuring, and ultimately controlling that process with data-driven models. In its stated view, targeting aging itself is more promising than treating age-related diseases one by one, with biological age and organism-state dynamics serving as measurable signals for discovering interventions.
SourceGero states that it is a data-driven longevity company that uses physics to reverse engineer biology, with the goal of extending healthy lifespan and delaying the onset of chronic age-related diseases. It presents aging as a solvable problem and frames its work around using quantitative, physics-based methods to understand and intervene in biological aging.
