The company presents a belief that organ donation outcomes should improve through better matching, expressing a goal of continuing efforts until there is a match and until every donated organ saves a life. This frames the company’s stance as reducing mismatch and wasted donor organs so more donations lead to successful transplants.
SourceUntil states that reversible cryopreservation is based on a core principle: molecular motion can be paused and later resumed without ice formation. The company presents temperature reduction as a lever that slows motion and metabolism, argues that ice is the central challenge, and says cryoprotectants can prevent ice during vitrification so organs can be preserved safely. It believes scaling this principle into engineered workflows can stop donor organs from timing out, improve organ procurement and matching, and also de-risk key questions relevant to whole-body reversible cryopreservation.
