Exposure history biases sleep cueing
Full text
This hypothesis asks whether exposure history shapes which cultural source sleep strengthens after a recommendation reset.
Participants would learn equally practiced sources with different histories. They would then receive source-linked cues during verified non-REM sleep, a stage without rapid eye movements, quiet wakefulness, or no cue.
A history-by-cue-by-sleep pattern in later recall and reproduction would set the proposal apart from memory and cue-driven preference.
