Sleep-first communities could transfer recovery
Full text
In menopause, this hypothesis asks if improving sleep before suppressing hot flashes can create gut microbial communities that carry cardiovascular recovery after treatment clears.
The test transfers baseline, sleep-first, and suppression-first communities into animals after washout. Reversing identical strains' arrival order would test whether order matters. Recovery transferred only by sleep-first communities would support a microbial mechanism. Controlled diets, proof that transferred microbes establish, and drug-free samples are required.
