Tomorrow Bio has launched Pets of Tomorrow, a program for arranging pet cryopreservation in advance
On 22 July, the company launched a service that allows pet owners to create a case file, sign a contract, and select a payment method in advance. For vitrification, the animal must reach Rafz within ten hours while being cooled to 4 °C.
After a pet dies, the family must arrange transportation, pay for the procedure, and meet a short deadline at the same time. Through the Pets of Tomorrow page, Tomorrow Bio allows owners to make these arrangements in advance. They can create a case file, receive a contract generated from their information and sign it digitally, select a funding method, and plan transportation to the storage facility.
The service moves these practical decisions to a time when the animal is still alive. This is what distinguishes the program from the previous cryopreservation service. The contract, payment, and logistics are now combined into a public process instead of being handled through urgent correspondence after the pet dies.
The company describes the fee as a lifetime membership costing €500 and credits it toward the price of the procedure. Preservation costs from €30 000 to €150 000, depending on the species, the animal's size, and the selected option. Payment can be made by bank transfer, card, cryptocurrency, or monthly installments in Switzerland. Tomorrow Bio states that it stores animals in Rafz at liquid nitrogen temperature, approximately −196 °C.
Two options are available: standard cryopreservation and vitrification. During vitrification, tissues are treated with cryoprotectants and cooled rapidly to reduce ice formation. For this option, transportation to Rafz must take no more than ten hours. The standard option allows more time for transportation.
Once the case file has been prepared in advance, only one practical step remains after the pet dies: starting the selected transportation and preservation procedure.
