Ben Horowitz is a technology entrepreneur, investor, and author best known for cofounding Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) with Marc Andreessen in 2009. Before a16z, he cofounded and led Loudcloud/Opsware, which Hewlett-Packard acquired for $1.6 billion in 2007. He has invested across enterprise software, AI, cloud infrastructure, fintech, crypto, creator platforms, and bio + healthcare, and has served on the boards of companies including Databricks, Anyscale, Mayvenn, NationBuilder, Navan, and UnitedMasters.
