Dr. Alex Colville is co-founder and General Partner of age1, the longevity-focused venture firm launched in 2023 as a continuation of The Longevity Fund’s mission. He previously built biotech investment activity at Starbloom Capital and served as founding Chief of Staff at the Amaranth Foundation, where he led investments and philanthropy related to healthy lifespan extension. Colville earned a PhD in genetics from Stanford, studying aging biology in Thomas Rando’s lab, and has also advised biotechnology companies and spoken at longevity-investor conferences.
