Russell Hirsch, MD, PhD is a healthcare venture capitalist focused on biotechnology, medical devices, aging, and senior-care technology. He co-founded Prospect Venture Partners II and III, later became a Managing Director at Generator Ventures, and is part of the Equitage Ventures investment team. Earlier in his career he was a partner in Mayfield's Healthcare Technology group and has served on public and private company boards including Intuitive Surgical, AVEO, Portola, and multiple aging-care companies.
