Avra van der Zee is a climate-tech and deep-tech investor/operator who became General Partner at SOSV in March 2026, working with HAX on hard tech investing. Previously she was Chief Operating Officer at Elemental Excelerator/Elemental Impact, where she oversaw investments, portfolio, communications, and operations. Earlier in her career she was a senior executive at JUMP through its sale to Uber, and she also serves in advisory and board roles including Made of Air and Novo Holdings' Advisory Group.
