William D. Porteous is a General Partner and Chief Operating Officer at RRE Ventures, where he has worked since 2000. He is a longtime early-stage technology investor with board roles across space, AI, consumer, fintech, and media, including BlackSky, Spire, Nanit, Paperless Post, Ursa, and Wave. He also founded the Dockery Farms Foundation and previously taught venture capital at Columbia Business School.
