Andrew Firlik is a physician-turned-venture capitalist and managing partner at JAZZ Venture Partners, where he invests in companies at the intersection of technology, science, and human performance. Before JAZZ, he held investing roles at Flare Capital Partners/Foundation Medical Partners and Canaan Partners, and earlier founded the core technology behind Northstar Neuroscience. He also practiced as a board-certified neurosurgeon and held academic appointments at Yale School of Medicine and New York University School of Medicine.
