Priscilla Chan is a physician, former K-12 teacher, and co-founder and co-CEO of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI), a philanthropic LLC she and Mark Zuckerberg established in 2015 with a commitment of 99% of their Meta shares over their lifetimes. She leads CZI's science strategy—building open-source biological tools, AI models, and collaborative Biohub research institutes aimed at curing or preventing all disease by 2100. Separately she holds a small personal angel portfolio concentrated in EdTech and enterprise software.
