Avak Kahvejian, Ph.D., is President of Flagship Labs and a General Partner at Flagship Pioneering, where he has worked since 2011 leading teams that originate and scale new biotech platforms. He has co-founded and/or led multiple Flagship-created companies including Cellarity, Ring Therapeutics, Laronde, Generate:Biomedicines, ProFound Therapeutics, Ampersand Biomedicines, Abiologics, and Etiome. He also holds several board and advisory roles across biotech and nonprofit institutions.
