David Gitlin is the chairman and chief executive officer of Carrier Global Corporation, the public HVAC, refrigeration, and energy-solutions company spun out of United Technologies in 2020. Before leading Carrier, he served as president and chief operating officer of Collins Aerospace Systems and earlier led UTC Aerospace Systems and roles within Hamilton Sundstrand. Under his leadership, Carrier repositioned itself around intelligent climate and energy solutions and executed major portfolio transformation transactions including the Viessmann Climate Solutions acquisition.
