Nicholas T. Hertz, Ph.D., is a biotechnology founder and scientist focused on neuroscience and neurodegenerative disease. He is the founder and CEO of Montara Therapeutics, where he is developing brain-selective therapies for CNS diseases. Earlier, he co-founded Mitokinin with Kevan Shokat, served as its chief scientific officer, and helped advance a PINK1 activator program for Parkinson's disease before AbbVie acquired the company in October 2023.
