Nabanita Nawar is a medicinal chemist, biotech entrepreneur, and lecturer at the University of Toronto who co-founded and leads HDAX Therapeutics. Her work focuses on small-molecule therapeutics for diseases linked to microtubule dysfunction, including neuropathies, neurodegenerative conditions, and cardiometabolic disease. She is also a 2024 Termeer Institute fellow and was recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 Toronto in 2023 according to her Termeer profile.
