Osman Kibar is a Turkish-American biotech entrepreneur best known for founding Samumed, later renamed Biosplice Therapeutics, in San Diego. He previously co-founded Genoptix, an oncology diagnostics company later acquired by Novartis, and Biosplice's board page says he earlier served as a vice president on Pequot Capital's venture capital and private equity team. Pomona College lists him as Executive Chairman of Biosplice Therapeutics and CEO of Vicunous, Inc.
