Roger Bergersen was the principal founder of TheraVitae Inc., the predecessor to clinical-stage regenerative-medicine company Hemostemix Inc. After receiving investigational autologous cell therapy for advanced heart disease in 2005, he became an advocate for structured clinical research into ACP-01 for ischemic and vascular conditions. Hemostemix reports that he died in February 2020.
