Mikhail Shchepinov

Mikhail Shchepinov is a Russian biochemist born in 1965 whose work spans bioorganic chemistry, nucleic-acid microarrays, and stable-isotope reinforcement of biomolecules. He completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford and later co-founded Retrotope, where he serves as Chief Scientific Officer developing deuterated polyunsaturated fatty-acid therapeutics for oxidative-stress and neurodegenerative conditions. He is best classified as a scientific and biotech ecosystem figure rather than a capital deployer.
