Deborah Zajac is a General Partner at SOSV and IndieBio in New York, where she works on deep tech and life-science company building and investing. Before joining SOSV in February 2025, she helped build Touchdown Ventures, later Cerity Partners Ventures, and previously spent about a decade at GE Ventures and GE research labs investing in and commercializing startups across healthcare, industrial, energy, consumer, and digital sectors. Her public bio also notes prior roles as an Executive-in-Residence at Columbia Technology Ventures, trustee at Lehigh University, and founding advisor to Lehigh's Baker Center.
