Amy E. Herr is a bioengineer and professor at the University of California, Berkeley, where she leads research in bioinstrumentation, single-cell and protein analysis, and clinical diagnostics. She has held senior leadership roles in the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub Network and helped lead UC Berkeley's Bakar BioEnginuity Hub, which supports academic spin-outs. In February 2025, she joined Bio-Techne's board as an independent director; she also co-founded Zephyrus Biosciences, later acquired by Bio-Techne.
